Lambswool Fair Isle Slip-over Driftwood
This Fair Isle slip-over adds as little folklore feeling to your tweed jacket or blazer without being too thick and heavy. Here in the Driftwood colourway mixing camel with many shades of blue and a little green.
The people of Fair Isle, part of the Shetland Islands, have been making and selling knitwear in their recognisable patterns since around 1850. The big upswing came when the Prince of Wales wore one in public 1921 and from that point it has been part of the classic menswear wardrobe. William Lockie's interpretation is knitted from the softest lambswool in genuine patterns making it a luxury version of the more rugged original.
