The Country Gentleman
Traditional English country dress, from tweed to waxed cotton
Tweed jackets, waxed coats, Shetland knitwear, corduroy and moleskin trousers, proper shirts, brogues, boots and country accessories. The English country wardrobe has a character all its own, built on substantial cloths, familiar patterns and garments that sit naturally together.
This is a way of dressing we have worked with for years. For autumn, we have brought together a particularly traditional selection, with the clothes chosen to form complete combinations from head to toe. Dinner dress and nightwear have their place here too, for festive evenings and quieter hours indoors. The country gentleman's wardrobe in full.
