Fair Isle Shetland Sleeveless Cardigan Pine Shadow
The traditional Fair Isle knit consist of several colours in a complex pattern, but only two colours are used together for each row. The non visible yarn is stranded on the back side making the garment almost twice as thick as a plain knit.
Our own Fair Isle vests and slip-overs are knitted from a supersoft lambswool yarn that has a three dimensional ring spun Shetland look without making the garment too heavy and itchy. Here is the buttoned vest in greens, reds and yellows. Elevates any tweed jacket with its rustic folklore appeal.
