Shaggy Dog, Shaggy Bear or just brushed Shetland sweater, this Ivy League classic has many names. Our addition to the genre is called The Shagadelic because of its outrageously fluffy and colourful appearance. Also a nod to the sixties' swinging London of course. Here in Vintage Orange colour.

Made especially for us in our own fit by one of the leading Scottish makers. The neck is closely cut and the body is shorter. The shape is a little boxy but trim enough to fit under a sports jacket. The ribbed hem is wide and snug to let you adjust its position according to the rise of your trousers. The supersoft lambswool yarn has a three dimensional ring spun Shetland look and the teasel brush finishing process gives a traditional “shaggy” appearance without excess bulk. Oh, behave!

Seamlessly knitted from 2-ply J.C. Rennie Supersoft Lambswool yarn that has a three dimensional ring spun Shetland look. Fluffy teasel brushed finish.

100% Pure New Lambswool

The Care

Hand wash cold (30 degrees Celsius) only. Use an enzyme free soap based wool or silk wash product. A machine hand wash program with a delicate spin cycle can preferably be used. Pull to shape and dry flat away from heat. We recommend washing at an early stage to help set the fibres and reduce any pilling. Wash regularly to revive the original shape and feel.
