The Manchester Peacoat
A peacoat should have weight, and the Manchester has plenty of it. Cut from dense 30oz Yorkshire Melton wool, it has oversized lapels, a regular double-breasted shape and enough length to cover a tailored jacket. The heavy cloth gives excellent protection in cold, windy weather, while the clean proportions work just as naturally with denim and knitwear.
Made in Private White V.C.’s own Manchester factory, with British horn buttons, RIRI zipped internal pockets and the sort of substantial construction that suits the peacoat particularly well.
