A lighter alternative to a traditional flannel trouser, these Mautby offer an interesting Donegal effect fabric in beige with hints of grey. Just as good to wear on their own as to add interest in combination with a tweed jacket.

The Care

Take care of your tailored wool garments by airing and brushing to avoid frequent dry cleaning. Wet stains should be treated at once by soaking up any surface liquid with a tissue. Then immediately alternately dab the stain softly with a wet cloth (to dilute the stain) and a dry tissue (to absorb the stain) until the stain has been removed. If still visible after drying, consult a processional dry cleaner. You may press with a damp cloth under the iron (wool setting) the parts of the garment that is not canvassed (all parts except for the front quarters and lapels of a jacket) to flat out some wrinkles. Be patient and do not press too hard.

For Bladen trousers: Trousers come un-hemmed in a generous length inseam (36-38 inch), finish them to your taste at an alterations tailor. Waist is easy to adjust in or out at least one size (5cm). This is why picking size from your seat is so important.
