The essence of "bard" recalls the luxury worsteds of an earlier era, when the priority was to produce cloths of real character to the highest possible standard, regardless of the time and effort required. Traditional skill is combined with modern technology to create a fabric that, even before warping and weaving, undergoes five separate yarn-twisting processes. A meticulous finishing routine then enhances the resilience and performance of a cloth with excellent drape and a richly textured surface.
