A pair of jeans is a foundational cornerstone of a modern man’s wardrobe. The NW1 from Black Horse Lane is a relaxed 1950's heritage straight tapered leg style. The legs taper straightens from the knee to hem, perfect if you are looking for a wider silhouette but not baggy. Goes well with both tailoring and workwear.

These jeans are made from a 13.75oz weight indigo organic selvedge denim woven by Candiani Mills in Italy to give a slightly softer feel to these classic raw denim jeans.

Sanforized (pre-shrunk) raw organic selvage denim woven by Candiani Mills, Italy. Candiani's shuttle looms go back to the mid-20th century and have a particularly gentle way of weaving, giving the fabric a unique appearance and texture. Their selvedge fabrics combine traditional quality and sustainable innovation.

Cold wash only, or the denim will shrink by 5%
Wash inside out with mild detergent or none at all
They are Sanforized so will shrink in the length up to 1″, but shouldn’t shrink in the width
Raw denim will give up to a 1½″ in the waistband, so the fit should be snug (but not restrictive) to compensate
