Seersucker is a casual "puckered" fabric originally used for colonial uniforms and workwear. From the 1910's it has earned a firm position in American preppy and southern states traditional menswear.

Machine wash at 30°C or less on reduced cycle; do not bleach; do not tumble dry; dry flat; iron at low temperature; limitations are placed on the addition of water; mechanical action or temperature during normal dry cleaning process; gentle wet cleaning.
