Gavin Watson Pin Badges

A small Baracuta accessory with a very specific cultural reference. Developed with photographer Gavin Watson, whose images of British youth culture later helped shape the visual world of This Is England, these pin badges draw on the same territory of style, music and subcultural memory that has long surrounded the brand. Watson’s archive is rooted in the skinhead and punk scenes of late 1970s and 1980s Britain, photographed from within rather than at a distance.
