Works both for formal and informal ensembles due to its rich texture and deep pure clarity of colour. Handmade in their dedicated factory in the heart of east London with a handrolled untipped finish. Here in dark navy colour, a favourite of Mr Bond in the early Sean Connery movies.

The Cloth

This large knot, or Garza Grossa, grenadine is a solid colour highly textured fabric woven in a loose open weave.

100% silk

Drake's grenadine cloth is woven in Italy from a high-twist silk yarn on wooden looms dating back to 1928. Grenadine is a type of a leno weave, and comes in solid, patterned or striped qualities.

The Care

We do not recommend washing or dry cleaning our 3-fold ties as it is impossible to recreate the soft folds of a premium tie unless you take it apart and remake it.
