This heavy knit roll neck jumper will keep you warm and stylish. Taking inspiration from the original WWII submariner jumpers worn by the Royal Navy, we asked our friends in Hawick to make an updated and softer version.

Using the best lambswool and their unrivalled knitwear skills William Lockie made a truly luxurious garment for everyday cold weather use. The deep ribbed hem was made at our specific request to keep in line with the original silhouette. Here in the original ecru colour.

The Knit

100% 4-ply Scottish spun geelong lambswool from the best pedigree sheep reared in South Australia.

William Lockie knit all their products “tight with extra twist” to ensure their knitwear does not pill or bobble. Washed in the soft water of river Teviot to ensure its luxury feel.

The Care

Hand wash cold (30 degrees Celsius) only. Use an enzyme free soap based wool or silk wash product. A machine hand wash program with a delicate spin cycle can preferably be used. Pull to shape and dry flat away from heat. We recommend washing at an early stage to help set the fibres and reduce any pilling. Wash regularly to revive the original shape and feel.
